It is impossible for a child to consent to being born. This begins a hierarchical existence where children are systemically dehumanized, deprived of needs, and denied agency. A society needs rules to function and those rules are useless unless members of that society adhere to them; however, that's not a reason to traumatize children.

I mean, maybe adulthood is inherently traumatic too. Maybe that's just how life is. But I don't think it has to be that way. I don't think it should be that way. I am tired of my trauma, and I'm not the only one.
